||Ms. Peggy Achieng' is a long time volunteer of Young Women Campaign Against AIDS (YWCAA). She has been volunteering at YWCAA since its inception in 2002. Peggy holds a Bachelor's Degree in Law, her dream and vision is to work in Human Rights related areas with a passion to advocate for the rights of the underprivileged, including women and children.
She has worked with different Human Rights organizations in Kenya namely; Kituo Cha Sheria (Centre for Legal Aid), International Commission of Jurists (ICJ-Kenya) and is currently working as a Programs Assistant in the Human Rights department at Constitution and Reform Education Consortium (CRECO). Peggy continues to enhance her skills in, report development, development concept notes, and project proposals. Part of her work at the organization involves drafting of field reports, administrative duties, distribution of information, education and communication materials to the public and to persons living with HIV/AIDS in the informal settlements in Nairobi. She also participates in field visits that include visits to children's homes- offering material and emotional support; as well as participate in outreach activities to the youth, Bar Waitresses and grandmothers who have been rehabilitated from brewing and drinking of illicit brew.
